Reagan Raczynski

Reagan Raczynski from Washington, D.C. began dancing at her mother and grandmother's academy; Barbara Sheppard’s Academy of Dance, and started formal training in 2003. She studied classical ballet training at The Washington School of Ballet from 2005-2016. There, she performed in many of Septime Webre’s Company World Premieres, including one of her most treasured; The Great Gatsby Ballet. She performed at the Kennedy Centre, Lincoln Theatre, THEARC, Strathmore and The Warner Theatre. She attended summer intensives at The Rock School, The Washington School of Ballet, Ate9, and Sweet Bird Productions. She also attended national competitions and conventions every summer with Dance Masters of America. Reagan began teaching at Candace Sheppard Dance Academy in Palisades, D.C, in 2017 where she has choreographed and co-directed numerous works for competition and performance, including the Academy's The Nutcracker Ballet premiere in 2021, and received national and regional choreography awards in 2018 and 2022. In 2017, Reagan began her journey at The Boston Conservatory at Berklee earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and minoring in Psychology. There she performed in pieces by distinguished choreographers; Gabrielle Lamb, Adrianna Suarez and Gino DeMarco, Catherine Coury, Adrienne Hawkins, Daniel Pelzig, James Viera, and Loni Landon. In 2020, Reagan was accepted to the Marcat Dance intensive in Spain.
