Summary

I want to work as a nurse because I feel the need to help others in ways words cannot. When I was younger my mother passed away, growing up so many people reached out and tried to give me words of encouragement or advice, but truly what helped the most is the people that took care of me and put actions to they’re advice and words of love. I would love to put action to my desire to help people. I would love to be the nurse of a child or adult of someone in need, no matter how big or how small the problem is, the ethnicity of the patient, or background of the patient. I believe that with my experiences growing up and in the nursing program, I could incorporate loving quality care with professionalism to each patient I encounter (no matter what the age). I believe that nursing is more than just a job, it’s a way to reach the unreachable and I would love to be a part of that mission.
