- Currently, I assist in preparing milk replacer for newborn calves, bottle feeding, disinfecting newborn navels with iodine, transitioning cows and their newborns once they’ve calved, and feeding grain to heifers located in other areas of the barn. I’m also responsible for tube feeding when necessary. I also monitor pregnant cows in the calving lots and perform husbandry tasks for newborn calves.
