Parent Committee President
· Conduct monthly parent committee meetings for three of the Head Start locations in the surrounding area.
· Record accurate minutes of meetings with assistance of the parent committee facilitator.
· Manage the treasury report with the help of facilitator.
· Organize monthly activities and guest speakers for meetings with the parent committee facilitator.
Head Start Community Action Planning Chairperson
· Facilitate monthly meetings while following the meeting agenda.
· Ensure the meeting runs smoothly by using time management and organizational skills.
· Effectively communicate each motion before a vote takes place.
· Act as the main point of contact for the parents, administrators, and the community.
· Serve as a member on the Executive committee.
