My name is Rebecca A. Cavazos. I am an early graduate from Perryton High School. In my high school career I participated in sports such as volleyball, basketball and track.
My freshman year I was granted the opportunity to be in an honor choir where I received high scores on my solo performance. I was also voted best citizen by all staff members.
My sophomore year I competed in FFA competitions such as parliamentary and food science. Some volunteer work I did was Trunk or Treat at Key Heights Baptist Church and Snack Pack for Kids which was coordinated through our school administrators. This year I was also voted best citizen of my class by all staff members.
My Junior year was skipped, I was originally from the class of 2024.
Senior year I had double the core classes, involving the classes needed for my junior year. I took AP English composition as well as AP English Literature and scored 4's on the tests. I was also in AP Biology and I was in dual credit classes from Frank Phillips College to get ahead in my college career as well. I was inducted into the National Honors Society and graduated top 10% in my class. As volunteer work, I stayed consistent with Snack Pack for Kids.
During my first semester of college as a freshman I took 14 credit hours and got involved with an organization called Turning Point USA.
During my second semester of college I became classified as a sophomore due to the credits taken in my senior year of high school. I am taking 18 credit hours currently and was able to be in The Society For Collegiate Leadership and Achievement. I also stayed consistent with the involvement of the Turning Point USA chapter.
I am a very hard working, consistent, passionate and loving individual. I fell in love with nursing and plan to become a labor and delivery nurse with hopes of continuing my education to become a Certified Nurse Anesthesiologist. Currently I am a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) and a Certified Patient Care Technician (PCT). During my studies to become a PCT I also went through trainings for phlebotomy. I would love to work in an environment that is along the field of my future career. I had a great experience with my first job at a family clinic and would love to get back into working as a CNA/PCT.
