  • Consultant for Residential and Correctional Facilities Administration for 2 High Risk Juvenile Facilities to include Dozier (189 Beds) and JUOCC (96 Beds). Conduct Internal Affairs Investigations for both facilities. Assignment of internal management reviews to include tracking and submission of weekly reports to Superintendents and Regional Director. Ensure compliance with ACA and QA Standards through annual review and revision of all policies and procedures for both institutions.
  • Developed COOP – Continuity of Operations Plan for Dozier Facility to include meeting with Fire Chief for review and feedback regarding fire safety issues. Define and implement corrective actions based upon my findings in internal investigations. Conducted EEO interviews, scheduled hearings and chaired EEO hearings. Conducted overall staff training based upon any EEO violations to prevent future occurrences. Enhance community relations through Advisory Board and Monthly Meetings with Law Enforcement, Judges, and State Attorney Office Personnel. I conducted Internal Investigations and developed corrective action plans based upon findings. Re-instated advisory board reviewed and revised existing policy and procedures for compliance with ACA and QA Standards. Assisted Case Management with Aftercare Services to include youth placement with foster parents through DCF. Met monthly with DCF regarding placement issues for currently housed youth to develop aftercare plans. Administered Security Measures to include training staff regarding security protocol. Developed guidelines for DCF, Jimmy Ryce Sex Offenders and Interstate Compact juveniles to ensure compliance with Florida Statutes. Drafted and created the COOP – Continuity of Operations Plan to provide a master plan in the event a natural disaster etc. occurred. Directed the monitored Fire Safety as well as ensuring that annual Fire Marshall Inspections were completed in a timely manner. Conducted on the job training as well as informative seminars to improve agency morale.
