• Performs complex and/or research cardiac surgeries.
• Designated team member for structural heart procedures.
• Designated team member for hybrid cardiovascular OR procedures.
• Operates 3D cardiac mapping system to assist physician in complex ablations.
• Sutures incision closed at end of procedures.

• Ensures safety and well-being of patients.
• Employs specialized procedural knowledge and equipment to test and document patient cardiac activity.
• Assists physician with all electrophysiology procedures within the sterile field.
• Performs various functions outside the sterile field.
• Operates electrophysiology and radiographic equipment.
• Monitors patient hemodynamic status.
• Maintains current clinical/technical knowledge base and skills
• Maintains certification in pertinent field.
