I was a stay at home parent for the 11 years. Throughout my time staying home, I have spent a lot of hours volunteering in the kids schools in various ways. I have had to learn to manage my time and myself to get the most out of my days. I served on my children's preschool board where I was a liaison between the parents and teacher's, which taught me how to communicate more effectively. Before kids, I spent a lot of my time caregiving and working with people in the restaurant industry. Caregiving has taught me to patient and thorough, while the restaurant industry taught me urgency and customer service. I have worked for Ann Arbor Public Schools in the IT department for the past 2 years. I have learned many new computer skills, troubleshooting basic tech problems, and to work with others to solve problems.
