This was a seasonal position during the holidays. I was responsible for using my own vehicle to transport packages from the facility to the customer's homes. I was given a list of packages each day, I was expected to organize my route for deliveries. I was also expected to meet a certain quota of deliveries each day.
I accepted this position as an independent contractor. I achieved my license to sell life and health insurance within the first month of excepting this position. This was a 100% commission paid. I worked with over 10 different life and health insurance carriers. I used a lead card to get in front of the client and a well wrote script to close a client. I would meet with clients in their homes and discuss their insurance needs. I would comb through multiple carriers to meet their needs based on any health conditions they may of had.
I was promoted to manager after 1 year, this came with salary and overrides. I was responsible for interviewing and hiring of new agents. I was responsible for taking new agents out in the field and showing them how to close sales.
