- Works well under high stress situations. Has performed CPR several times. I also work with documentation, vital signs, EKGs, as well as postmortem care. I work in the “float pool” so I get moved around all over the hospital. I don't work on one specific unit. For example, everyday is different. At random I'll be in the ER, ICU, running telemetry monitors all day or working a normal floor with my set of patients. I'm used to working long hours, 12hr shifts are normal.
