Clone lead, Mentor, Inventory Control Specialist
1 Year 6 Months- Performed plant care in greenhouses, including skirting, defanning, pest control, and transplanting, demonstrating reliability and work ethic. Shortly after starting they realized I was hard working and dependable and gave me a chance to work in the clone room where they had the consulting company Catalyst train me on best ways to clone and put me in charge of the clone room and the clone team. When Cresco Labs came through on one of their tours as they were deciding to buy Cultivate they commented that it was one of the best clone rooms they have seen and complimented me on how great the clones were looking. Then Cultivate decided they wanted to start a training program to ensure everyone was trained the same way so we could see more consistent plant growth. Led design of training program as a mentor, ensuring consistent education for new hires on compliance and cultivation processes. I would give the new hires a tour of the building and explain to them what was expected of them, why being in compliance is so important and how we use the METRC tags to help keep in compliance. I trained staff on cannabis cultivation processes. I also worked some harvests and worked in post harvest trimming, bucking, etc. And helped them design a training program for their department. When Cresco Labs bought Cultivate they already had a training program in place so our program was not needed. Instead of going back into the grow rooms, ( where I would have lost hourly pay) they offered me a position as an Inventory Control Specialist with METRC certification. I accepted the offer and have been working in this position since March 1, 2022.
