Neighborhoods Against Substance Abuse

  • A non-profit community organization whose goal is to combat the use of alcohol and illegal drugs by collaborating with local high schools, law enforcement, retailers, other non-profit organizations, individual community members, and political leaders to develop a strategy to enhance awareness regarding the dangers of alcohol and drug use.
  • Served as President, Vice President, and Secretary of the Executive Board of Directors; also, served as chairperson of numerous committees.
  • Assisted in numerous presentations at community events, 4-H Fairs, meetings, and within all 4 school corporations in Hancock County. Conducted after school programming which was presented to students at two of the local middle schools.
