Rebekah Hinojosa

Lead a team of 25 directors/officers in 9 departments and oversee administration to foster a diverse and inclusive community for alumni of the Unite cultural exchange program. Organize and implement events for groups of up to 200 individuals, securing finances for club activities, and promote constructive interactions among board members.

Help lead lessons to kids between the ages of 3 years old to 8 years old. Help organize and set up crafts. Manage a classroom a about 15 children.

Helped manage boxes of records received at facility. Retrieved folders or boxes and mailed items back to originating department. Pulled boxes off the shelves once they have passed the legally approved retention period and sorted them into shredding or recycling bins.

Help lead the program events and organize events. Managed 5 program facilitators and lead a group of 30 students. Lead and coordinated program day events. Helped create and inclusive and welcoming environment for students joining the program.

Assisted program coordinators with forming social events to promote unity and togetherness. Lead a small group of individuals for events and was a main point of contact for them. Worked in a team to create an inclusive environment within the campus.

Maintained an organized stockroom. Supported the sales floor in stocking and maintaining store displays. Assisted with receiving and processing trucks, as well as pick-up orders. Assisted and supported the execution of the store’s seasonal and weekly floor plans along with the Visual Team.

Operated a cash register for cash and credit card transactions, stocked merchandise, cleaned and organized store, handled customer relations issues and determined customer needs by asking relevant questions and listening actively.

Served customers in an efficient and timely manner. Ability to make quick decisions and work well with others to achieve this goal. Responsible for maintaining the reputation of the establishment by serving quality products with an upbeat attitude and professionalism.
