Rebekah Mandel

Hi my name is Rebekah Mandel. I am a high school junior at JJ Pearce High School. I want to learn about marketing because it’s about strategy. I want to understand what grabs attention. I want to learn how to connect with an audience, and understanding how a brand grows excites me. I’m interested in how businesses advertise themselves, how they stand out in a crowded market, and what makes people choose one brand over another. Marketing shapes the way people see and interact with products, and I want to be part of that process.

• 2 year member, Organized a charity run to earn money for cancer patients

• 2 year member: Make treats and signs for assigned football player weekly to show support towards school

• Member for 5 years, volunteers for many charities, earn leadership hours, help build a community
• As Corresponding Secretary I reach out to new charities to work with and mark and record the members hours

Best Buddies (Part of Friendship Walk Committee)

• Hang out with children at my school with disabilities, organize parties and meetings and build friendships
• Organizing a walk with our buddies in order to spread awareness and I am reaching out to businesses in the communities who want to help sponsor the event

Varsity Debate Team

• Go to competitions to compete on the months given topic
