I,m alabtechnician2inthecorelabdiagnostic laboratories at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
I had worked within this laboratory Since 2017 .
I have volunteered for a variety of projects at Vanderbilt, and they have developed my leadership skills over the last 6 years. I have gained experience with most of the instrumentation and testing in the department.
I have worked on both night and evening shift and have developed criteria, decision making skills and confidence to work independently in the laboratory.
I,m responsible for coordinating the I-side by ordering reagents, supplies, running lot ot lot for reagent and QC, correlation, Cap survey, carryovers, and running samples for validation.At Vanderbilt Medical Center Iam trained to work in multiple disciplines in the
core laboratory chemistry (DT, WT, TM,) Hematology sysmex, Setups, Coagulation, Urinalysis, ER stat Lab, Miscellaneous chemistry, provided feedback to team leaders and shift managers and quickly respond to their instructions.
