Work History
Commissioned Officer (Multi-Domain Effects)
United States Army Reserve
Fort Johnson, LA
03.2024 - Current
As a Multi-Domain Effects Officer, I synchronized electromagnetic warfare, drones, information, and cyber assets to best train America's soldiers. My job was to create a realistic, austere environment using the aforementioned assets.
I gained specialized training from the company Anduril on the operation of their premier medium-sized drone, and led a team of four drone operators. I learned the capabilities and limitations of my team and equipment, and employed them in the most effective way possible to collect intelligence on large swathes of land.
I supervised and implemented systems designed to jam radio frequencies, ensuring that their operation would provide the desired effects.
I acted as a counterintelligence cell leader and integrated myself into a civilian population.
I pioneered and authored a newsletter that detailed the current efforts of our workplace in a readable, visually appealing package.
Commissioned Officer (Battle Captain)
United States Army
Fort Johnson, LA
01.2024 - 03.2024
I got to work in a wide range of specialties throughout my military career. As an Infantry Officer by trade, I spent the beginning of my career as a battle captain at the Joint Readiness Training Center, which involved directing and managing three hundred soldiers at any given time.
I frequently coordinated large-scale operations involving ground troop maneuvers, aircraft, artillery, and armored assets. I gained an understanding of each of these units, and learned how to best employ them.
Not only did I learn the ins and outs of battalion-level military operations, but I also learned general skills such as how to lead effectively, clear communication, multi-tasking, and delegation.
I also learned the art of talent management, an often overlooked skill in the military, which greatly improved my team's cohesion. I was able to recognize talent and place people in positions where I knew they would be most effective.
