Accomplishments

  • Recipient of USCIS O-1 and EB-1A Visas, awarded to professionals demonstrating extraordinary ability in their respective fields and recognized as top-tier experts in their respective fields.
  • Awarded various awards including the 2021 Global Peace and Humanitarian Award in recognition of her international peacebuilding work.
  • Planned and lead the Nonviolent Action and Human Rights Defender convention in Nepal, 2023. This includes travel logistics for 80+ activists from over 40+ countries, designing the program, fundraising, and leading organizational teams.
  • Designed the first cross-borders educational program between classrooms in the US, Cameroon and Palestine.
  • Cultivated strategic relationships and negotiated MOUs and successful collaborations with various national and international organizations most recently, a partnership with The International Governance Institute Cameroon.
  • Created and hosted two seasons and 26 episodes of Together for Peace Webinar series featuring globally renowned speakers.
  • Served on multiple boards including the Rotary Club Portland, Combatants for Peace, Peace Village and Hands of Peace. Also served on multiple committees including the 2018 Environmental Sustainability and Peace Presidential Conference, where Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister of Canda was a speaker.
  • Increased the strategic outreach of the Rotary Action Group for Peace including the Peacebuilder network and the membership. The Peacebuilder network outreach increased from one state in the US to almost every state in the US and over 30 nations. The membership also reached 125 countries.
  • Obtained distinguished recognition at various international platforms, networks, events and magazines including by the globally respected Rotary International Magazine.
  • Invited as keynote speaker in over 25 global and national conferences including Geneva, Hamburg, Seoul, Toronto and Atlanta.
  • Advocated for a Two-State Solution on a nationwide tour as an Ambassador with the One Voice movement in 2012, delivering keynote addresses at prestigious institutions including Harvard Kennedy School, Brown University, and Columbia University.
  • Successfully coordinated the 2011 Ramallah Contemporary International Dance Festival, supported by the European Commission, featuring 18 contemporary dance performances.
  • Served as the economic development lead in the four-month Land Use project at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill (September 2013-December 2013) to assist the City of Shenzhen in implementing the Livability concept. Conducted research and devised pioneering economic strategies focused on art, resulting in substantial socioeconomic transformation within the city.
