Assist drills and be an encouraging force for the 12's volleyball team. Be ready to help the head coach with any task needed of me each practice.
As a hostess, I greeted costumers with a welcoming smile every time they came in the door. I also sat them at a table. My Jon also included, cleaning tables, selling apparel and rolling silverware from time to time.
I also worked as a food runner at Hop Haus. This meant, I would transport food orders from the kitchen to the table they were assigned to. I also ran dirty/finished trays of food back to the dishwasher to be washed.
This job required a lot of valuable skills that I developed during my time working there. You must be a clear and efficient communicator, you must demonstrate patience and professionalism when working with costumers, and you needed to be organized and timely regarding shifts and updating your availability.
As a camp counselor, I was organized, controlled, and safe, keeping 16-18 campers safe, happy and healthy in my group each day. I helped my campers navigate difficult emotions, homesickness, arguments, and much more. I also worked with 3-4 co-counselors each day to plan activities for my entire group to enjoy, considering the many different interests each individual child had.
