• Touch up points within jobs for different car body models, move robot away from collisions and back to home position to reset retry operations; as well as backup programs to keep up to date.

• Backup Siemens HMI, PLC, and VFD parameters to keep up to dates files monthly.

• Maintain and troubleshoot various automated CNC machines such as Mazak, Makino, Haas, and Okuma.
• Attended Haas and Okuma training centers to be certified in their troubleshooting and repair courses
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks to ensure proper operation of mills on a daily basis
• Troubleshoot Fanuc, Siemens, Allen bradley, Mitsubishi drives and servo motors as needed along with any other electrical components ranging from 120v-480v
• Able to read and apply knowledge using electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic drawings/ schematics

• Perform duties of shift electrician role by responding to trouble calls throughout the site when an electrical issue is presented and return operations to service in a safe and timely manner to ensure the daily goals and expectations of production are met
• Well versed in troubleshooting automated industrial machines using RSLOGIX5000 on a daily basis
• Manipulate logic within program of machines to adjust timers based on milliseconds, adjust distancing of machine’s components using millimeter presets as well if changes are to be made to improve function of operations. Cross reference bits in program to further troubleshoot permissive not being met, interlocks not okay for automatic use, latched alarms that can only be cleared in program, VFD’s not ready to start, etc.
• Install and setup transmitter and receiver photo eye’s, proximity switches, flow switches, pressure switches, limit switches, load cells, flow meters, density meters, and linear transducers correlating with the encoder and program high and low limit of machinery using encoder to portray position of actual machine
• Use Archimedes’ method of volume to ensure correct batching of mix plant operations
• Home servo motors as needed using position feedback as reference
• Can read electrical drawings as well as pneumatic & hydraulic diagrams
• Passed AIDT pre-employment assessment based on aptitude of industrial electrical knowledge

• Lead electrical technician, motors control specialist, and mechanic of extrusion department overseeing extruders, repelletizers, and thermoformers
• Program and set parameters on Eurotherm, Honeywell, Dynisco, Yakasawa, Allen Bradley, and Eaton controllers and drives
• Troubleshoot 120v-480v electrical panels in accordance with schematic design and ladder logic
• Test and replace fuses, relays, motor starters, contactors, and PLC equipment
• Perform various mechanical work tasks on machines
• Check and replace motor brushes, broken shafts, bearings, and gearboxes
• Knowledgeable in covered processes of using hazardous material
• Have an understanding of air compressors, pneumatic systems, chillers, heat exchangers, and backup plant generators
• Knowledgeable in basic electrical work such as pulling wire, termination, bending and running conduit
