  • Service-Learning Immersion Trip-Dominican Republic, Volunteer, (October 2023): This Service-Learning Immersion trip allowed me to explore the healthcare challenges confronted by communities with limited resources as well as focus on the nurse’s role in delivery of care and the social, cultural, political, and economic factors that influence health care. Our daily tasks included assessments/basic screenings, community outreach, and visiting local health facilities.
  • Hospice House, Volunteer, (2021-May 2022): Fed, bathed, and catered to patients needs; Aided the nurses and CNAs in their tasks; Assisted with administrative tasks which included filing, organizing and printing forms.
  • MerServe, Volunteer, (2019-May 2022): Student-led service programming board dedicated to providing opportunities within the surrounding community.
