  • Communicate with employees regarding Qualifying Family Status Changes including verification of appropriate documentation and assistance with changing benefits as necessary
  • Coordinate annual printing and distribution of all Open Enrollment materials for active employees via email and company intranet, as well as direct mailing for COBRA employees and retirees
  • Coordinate printing and distribution of all Medicare Part D communications on a yearly basis to active employees and retirees
  • Primary point of contact for all employee Short Term Disability claims, FMLA leaves, and Workers Compensation claims, including review of claims, determination of benefits and coordination with payroll to ensure proper pay according to plan policy
  • Ensure that LTD transition claims are initiated and that all information is received in sufficient time for TPA to review and process as appropriate
  • Responsible for accurate and timely entry of all information relating to leaves and benefits into ADP HRIS system for 2 different pay schedules especially FMLA leaves both ongoing and intermittent
  • Responsible for annual reporting of OSHA Form 300A and distribution to branches for posting
  • Responsible for annual updating of preferred WC panel physician listings and distribution to branches as well as appropriate workplace legal notices
  • Primary point of contact for initiation and processing of Bonds for Company business
