Undergraduate research assistant Biochemistry Lab, East Tennessee State University
During my time as an undergraduate research assistant, I worked to support the research of Dr. Douglas Thewke and the biochemistry lab. Much of my work involved Hras gene manipulation and production utilizing plasmids and e. Coli hosts. I was exposed to lab techniques such as DNA transfections, electrophoresis, Western Blot and immunofluorescence.
