I attended the TDCJ corrections officer training academy for the 6 week training which included physical ability for the job, weapons training, self defense, chemical gas use. I also excelled at report writing and filing, proper incident reporting and de-escalation techniques. 

I also attended the TDCJ sergeants  Acadamy in 2021where I further honed my skills at a multitude of tasks.
