Activities

  • When I was working with my 1st grade students, and I would encourage my students to become the “teacher”. The students would display that they were comfortable on a topic, I would purposefully make “errors” on my work, so the students would recognize it. The students would get excited to correct them as well as explaining where I went wrong on the problem.
  • Another that I enjoy doing is getting movement in my lesson. Having the students to a part of the lesson experience gets them ready to learn and having a greater connection on the lesson as well. I would get a sense of accomplishment when I see that the students are confident in what we are learning. Especially when they are asking if we can do that activity again.

Accomplishments

  • Commended for exceptional teaching and support to students.
  • Oversaw 22 students per class.
