Description of Duties: Security; taking on administrative duties and daily contact with offenders; review offender packets; staff representative; investigator; assist Case Manager on his/her caseload; supervise unit orderlies; ensure unit orientation is complete and housing roster is correct; order all office supplies and unit inventory; review visiting application for completeness and then forward to the special investigator for background check; update visiting cards at visiting room as well as in the offender field file; prepare custody assessment reviews, unit audits, new arrivals reviews, profile screening, and PWP screening; purge field files as needed; complete chronological report as needed; answer request to staff and make unit decisions; a Counselor for B- unit, consisting of 171 offenders, and included 20 offenders who were supervised as orderlies.
