Identify and document pipe defects (cracks, root intrusion, corrosion, sags, joint separations, etc)
Conduct physical entry inspections (confined space entry) where safe and required
Measure pipe diameters, flow levels, and sediment buildup
Use of laser or sonar profiling tools for pipe geometry assessment
Marking locations of defects using GPS or GIS
Create detailed inspection reports
Upload data and footage to asset management systems
Maintain accurate logs of inspections, defects, and maintenance recommendations
Interpret engineering drawings, maps, and utility plans
