With over 24 years at Vanderbilt Medical Center, I've honed my expertise in airway management and mechanical ventilation, alongside developing strong interdisciplinary collaboration skills. My leadership as well as my staff, enhanced patient satisfaction and care quality, while mentoring staff and optimizing departmental workflows underscore my commitment to excellence and teamwork in high-stakes environments. With over 30 years of military medical experience in which 5 of those (1995-2000), my duties included performing in the capacity as a Flight EMT on a blackhawk helicopter. My duties here at VUMC involve working in the capacity as one of the night supervisors, a position I have held since 2009.
