Summary

As a retired Special Ed. teacher of 24 years, with an additional 5 years experience as a child psychotherapist for emotionally disturbed children, I consider myself a very experienced behavioral expert, with typically hard to manage students aged 12-21. Having been born in Harlem, and growing up in Brooklyn and Queens, I have always been adept at establishing positive relationships with students who usually never had a teacher from the inner-city, who shows more love and concern than anger or criticism.

I am also a historian/author of ancient African history, with a YouTube history channel and a few Facebook pages, all created in the interest of dispersing African historical truth. I dare say that this knowledge gives me the in-class capability to gain the full interest and attention of any class of students....given 20 minutes or less to speak to them. This is sadly true because they have not had a teacher that knew very much about their ancestors' greatest achievements long before slavery. They, whose peoples' history is longest of any other people, have been denied the knowledge of 95% of the history of African people. This makes them the only American students for whom 95% of their ancestors history is totally omitted. The youth of today are totally interested in viewing mankind through the lens of the common ancestors shared by all people. I know personally how students are starving for this information.

*** I once had an entire class of 32 students [regular ed, not special], travel en masse to the principals' office after my period with them ended, and they demanded a double period of my class because, "It's the most important subject we have in school". I long for the opportunity to share this necessary information with teachers across the country in the near future.

I've spent more than 30 years documenting, and compiling the most incredible, impactful accomplishments of Africans along the Nile river, one to two thousand years before the birth of Greece or Rome. My channel offers at least 150 African history videos which display the visual documentation of the historical facts I contend. I am the founder of the historical organization known as P.T.A.H., which is dedicated to the Proper Teaching of African History, and the relentless dispersal of such, to the world.
