Ms. Arranz Oliva attended the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences of Havana (Instituto Superior de Ciencias Médicas de la Habana) from 2003 to 2008. Founded in 1976, the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences of Havana is a public institution of higher education accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education of Cuba. In order to be admitted into the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences of Havana, applicants must have the high school diploma (Bachiller). This is the equivalent of graduation from a college preparatory program at an accredited high school in the United States.
