Work History

Designer Associate

Oncor Electric Delivery
Fort Worth, TX
04.2020 - Current
  • Developed and implemented quality standards for mapping the electric distribution system, ensuring compliance with all Company policies and accepted standards.
  • Led and managed various DOC process improvement initiatives, providing technical expertise and project management services.
  • Conducted rigorous data quality audits of AEGIS-OMS maps, including new designs for modification and expansion projects, to guarantee accurate mapping of electric facilities that meet DOC and Field Technician customer needs.
  • Spearheaded a continuous improvement initiative that improved OMS functionality through the creation of a comprehensive data quality measurement and control system. This system quantifies severe AEGIS graphics errors, implements corrective action plans to resolve defects, and captures potential safety hazards at the source.
  • Identified and corrected 780 mainline switching devices with incorrect device ID information, caused by a temporary lack of AEGIS functionality in reactive-replacement WOs.
  • Identified and addressed 5,400 mainline switch-conductor connectivity issues involving geospatial proximity offsets exceeding acceptable levels.
  • Identified 7,600 conductors connected to mainline normal-open switches lacking wire-size and feeder-ID annotations in AEGIS-OMS (out of 20,500 opportunities), where there is a difference in wire-size attributes on either side of the normal-open point. This identification helped prevent feeder-rating miscalculation and switching misoperation risks.
  • Led a team of experts to develop a solution that significantly improved OMS operator and distribution operations technician workflows.
  • Implemented new technologies and trained the team on mapping tools and data management best practices, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Supported storm restoration efforts, ensuring accurate mapping of facilities to expedite repairs and prioritize personnel and public safety.
