I was responsible for servicing 2000 clients on a daily basis. I scheduled paying appointments for Mr. Smith and I had to make a quota. I had to get at least 5 paying appointments a day and I managed to make my quota for almost l6 years.

I organized Seminars which we had on a weekly basis and I scheduled appointments with the people who attended the seminars. Mr. Smith spoke about life insurance, long term care insurance and annuities. If Mr. Smith wrote business with any of the clients, I was responsible for processing the application and in the case of life insurance, I processed the application and sent to Boston for approval. I then put the clients on a data sheet and I called them on a weekly basis to give them updates and got them through the underwriting process. I scheduled the exam with a company called Exam one and entered that into the data base. I contacted their doctor's office and requested their medical information which I forwarded to John Hancock.

I was responsible for just about every aspect of running the office for Mr. Smith. I did have an assistant who did my filing and other tasks.

When I finished getting the client through the underwriting process and if they were approved for life insurance, I had to close the case. Mr. Smith just had to pick up their deposit and I processed and forwarded to the underwriters in Boston for the final approval.

I had to be well versed in life insurance, long term care insurance and annuities so that I could answer the client's questions in a professional manner.

I owned fifteen rentals and I was responsible for maintaining my real estate, getting and keeping good tenants and all that goes with being a landlord. At the same time, I helped my husband in his electrical business.
