Additional Information
1. (Senior Project): Design hydrological model of the Ballona Creek Watershed using ARC GIS, HEC-HMS, and HEC- RAS.
- A hydrological model of the Ballona Creek Watershed was developed to evaluate the site, address new areas of concern for flood hazards and most importantly, find ways to prevent flood related catastrophes.
- Provide social, economic, and environmental prosperity to the Ballona Creek Watershed public and wildlife communities.
- Develop a comprehensive evaluation of the watershed and account for any subsequent environmental change within the watershed and surrounding areas.
- Developed different alternatives to control watershed from a 100-year storm.
- Developed a 3D- Model to represent the watershed and our design proposals using Infraworks
- Drafted our design proposal into Civil 3D
2. Geotechnical Engineering: Develop a structure on an unknown place decided by professor. (Basketball Court In Hawaii)
- Classify soil type
- Choose cement type that is best for the location, weather, etc.
