As a dedicated and enthusiastic educator, I possess a deep love for learning and commitment to creating engaging, inclusive and challenging learning environments. My teaching philosophy is centered around fostering curiosity, creativity and critical thinking skills amongst my learners, while also promoting social-emotional growth and well-being. With my expertise from dealing with children as a Sunday teacher and eleven years (11) of teaching physics, mathematics and computer science to secondary and high school students, I have developed a range of innovative and effective strategies that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities. My experience with competency based approach (CBA) equipped me with the skill to design and deliver lesson plans that are both rigorous and rewarding. I am particularly drawn to this cultural exchange program because I have read and heard a lot about the United States, Her outstanding cultural values and technological advancement has no match in the world. I am very confident that there is a lot to learn from such an advanced culture, most especially the incorporation of technology in education. Eleven years of teaching in my country has also left me with a lot that will permit me to contribute to your system as you continue in your journey to develop young minds.
