  • Provide guardianship services to a caseload of individuals with developmental disabilities or age-related cognitive impairments.
  • Tasked with making difficult decisions such as placement in protective settings, selling financial assets such as homes and property, or withholding of medical treatment, including withdrawal of life support.
  • Worked within the Judicial system, filing motions for requests, submitting accountings, annual reports and provided testimony during court proceedings.
  • Conduct assessment of client's needs and resources, evaluate options, and develop appropriate plans. Arrange medical, financial management, educational, housing, employment, public benefits, legal representation, social and other services as needed.
  • Provide trauma informed support/care to clients.
  • 24/7 On call responsibility for my caseload.
  • Developmental Disabilities Service Division's representative to the Department Aging of Independent Living's Safety & Security Committee.
  • Three time Merit Award recipient.
  • Analyzed program spending, resulting in funds becoming available to fund the salaries of two additional guardian positions.
