  • The TinyBarn, the first property to go live has 100% perfect five star reviews on Airbnb and VRBO since opening in April 2023. The Tiny has been in the top 1 or 2% ever since Airbnb begin sharing national rankings in 2024. The TinyBarn has consistently outperformed comparative local listings by every performance data point airbnb measures including occupancy, wishlist additions and views.
  • Selected as Airbnb's only promoted Co-Host consultant in my region. Co-host consulting engagements have ranged from new listing start-up consulting, existing listing make-overs and overseeing day-to-day operations for other hosts. Consulting deliverables include market assessments, algorithm optimization, target guest profiles as well as decor and furnishing recommendations.

  • Recognized as one of two Directors responsible for corporate annual revenue growth from $30M to $100M.

  • Successfully managed progressive assignments, including multiple hats, in a challenging environment during executive leadership transitions. Ensured priorities and resource allocation remained aligned and that full-time, part-time, contract and intern personnel remained informed and well-equipped to perform in a dynamic environment.
  • Served as public sector lead for a companywide rebranding effort, resulting in a new website and marketing content tailored to the post-Dodd Frank regulatory environment. Worked collaboratively with Get Storied to build a corporate narrative that positioned Davidsohn as a timely niche provider in the Federal FinTech sector.

Director, Business Development & Acct Management

2010 - 2012

Directed Program Management (PM) and Business Development (BD) activities primarily for government clients including GSA, NASA OPM and DOD. Consulted for government clients as a subject matter expert in federal acquisition policy and operations, public-private partnerships, federal-state partnerships and government-to-government marketing for Research and Development agencies and Federal Shared Services Providers.

  • Architected, sold and led an innovative research and program development project for GSA's State and Local (S&L) Program that resulted in a 25% increase in S&L revenue one year after program implementation. Revenue increased by 45% two years after implementation. Along with one other colleague, developed, planned and deployed a two-day interactive training cross-functional program in twelve regional offices and six divisions at GSA Headquarters. In parallel, forged working partnership between GSA and various S&L government associations.
  • Served as Program Manager for a team of a dozen engineers and highly specialized consultants who evaluated twenty-two R&D projects at NASA Glenn to determine suitability for technology transfer, co-development and/or commercialization. Presented findings and achieved agreement from NASA scientists who accepted all recommendations for which projects to move forward to public-private partnerships. Led a parallel effort to establish a NASA Glenn Partnership Office responsible for strategically determining ideal private sector and University partners, forging these public-private relationships and codifying them in formal agreements in and managing those partner relationships throughout project lifecycle.
  • Developed and taught two customized acquisition training courses focused on market research and customer relationship management with the program office, for the U.S. Army Washington Headquarters Service acquisition workforce.

Served the largest government affairs and communications firm as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on federal management operations and regulations. Served as an outside consultant to C-suite executives, many from Fortune 100 companies. Crafted and executed successful non-traditional marketing/branding strategies for established government contractors seeking to protect their incumbency; large commercial companies seeking to break into the market; and small to mid-size contractors seeking to expand their footprint. Provided federal contractor clients accurate market forecasting, competitive intelligence and regulatory outlook.

  • Promoted to Vice President after one year of employment and rising to be one of the firm's top five business developers. Only non-partner included on various internal management committees including one responsible for the firm's mergers and acquisition activity.
  • Led a multi-faceted campaign for security clearance reform, representing a commercial client that did not wish to be publicly visible due to their key contract re-compete. Through industry and association contacts, formed and supported the operations of a multi-association coalition that publicly advocated for reforms and interfaced with the government. The campaign resulted in multiple Executive Orders, Legislation and an award of the contract.
  • Hired as the primary consultant in an expansive effort to shape a government-wide contract to be twice as long as similar contracts, have a ceiling of $1.5B and be awarded as a single-award to a dominant commercial company who had never received a federal contract award. Every objective was fully achieved.

Special Assistant and Procurement Analyst

Served as the principal aide and policy analyst to the Senate confirmed Administrator of Office of Federal Procurement Policy (OFPP) and a senior advisor to the heads of various other management and budget offices on various cross-functional initiatives in my portfolio. Formal portfolio included responsibility for implementation of the President's Management Agenda; oversight of government-wide technology contracts; outsourcing policy and government-wide workforce inventory; and OFPP's external communications strategy.

  • Successfully built consensus around OFPP policies, positions, directives and priorities internally with other OMB offices and external federal agencies by working through CXO Councils, informal internal and external working groups of senior non-executives, Congressional offices and committee staff, industry trade associations and political organizations. Relationships and reputation earned during these efforts resulted in lifetime loyalties from leaders across these organizations.
  • Assisted and advised the Administrator with staff management, Congressional relations and public relations guidance. Served as staff lead for drafting speeches, press materials and Congressional testimony and providing background interviews for media organizations. Success in these activities for the OFPP Administrator, led to other Administrators soliciting this support for themselves as well.
  • Worked collaboratively with the White House Public Affairs office on organizing small business roundtable events assisting with agenda development, speaker selection and identifying effective ways for the moderator to navigate sensitive topics. Also led event planning for a government-wide townhall event on two controversial initiatives on the President's Management Agenda.
  • Served as staff lead for OMB's oversight of the groundbreaking and controversial Networx program (a $50B telecommunications contract vehicle) and led the interagency transition working group by liasing and problem solving with key agency personnel, OMB budget and regulatory staff and leadership on sensitive regulatory compliance issues. The effort culminated in a historic 2004 interagency agreement involving leadership from multiple agencies and Congressional Committee oversight staff.

Served as a trusted senior advisor and gatekeeper in the Office of the Administrator on media, Congressional, personnel and White House priorities. Successfully managed priority projects and senior management working groups on behalf of the Chief of Staff, Deputy Administrator and White House Liaison on topics ranging from the transition of two divisions to the Department of Homeland Security, Post 9-11 continuity of operations planning to high profile suspension and debarment matters.

  • Served as the lead organizer for two bilateral meetings. One with the Canadian Government and the other with South Korea.
  • Selected to participate and on occasion facilitate, the Deputy Administrator's working groups on suspension and debarment matters and major Inspector General Audits and Investigations.
