I tend to the patients by getting them ready for the provider, giving injections, vitals, Phlebotomy, EKG's, urine drug screens, medical weight loss, relaying lab results, and can step in as a patient coordinator when needed.
I also set up minor in office procedures, anything from skin tag removals to testosterone pellets.
I am currently using Ecw for the EMR and copilot for patient scheduling.

I tended to patients by getting them ready to see the provider.
It can be anything from injections, in office procedures, well women exams, and obstetrics.
I set up and assist with FemiLifts, lazerMD, I&D, IUD insertions, nexplanon insertions, in office Aveta procures, and BioTe pellets.
Part of my job also includes triage while working the floor, pre-authorizations, medication refills, result calls, referrals, cleaning instruments, and laundry.
I also do some phlebotomy when our lab tech is out of office.
I also schedule appointments for urgent cases and blood draws.
I am a part of the unblinded staff for FMC Science.
My main job with FMC is to speak with the patient within the study criteria if they would like to participate and give the injections or get the exam room ready for the trial team.
We currently use Athena for our EMR and paper charts for our lazerMD patients and BioTe patients.

I tended to patients by getting them ready to see the physician by setting up in office procedures that included anything from LEEP procedures to IUD insertion, well women exams, follow up appointments, post op and pre op appointments, and assisting the physician when needed.
I documented the patient's information in Greenway and Athena EMR and the information includes past medical history, medications, family history and social history.
I created notes that pertain to the reason for the visit.
I collected vitals: height, weight, blood pressure, temperature, and fetal heart tones.
I also sent out specimens, filled out lab slips, ordered office supplies, and provided basic information that is in my boundaries of education.
After being promoted to MAII (Triage) while still working the clinic floor at our satellite office in Cedar Park, I assisted my fellow coworkers in taking phone calls/voicemail, MyRisk orders, filling out referrals, scheduling patients for in office procedures and office visits with our providers.
I also traveled between the main location and Cedar Park location when needed.
