I consider myself to be a professional nurse with experience, committed to compassionate care for all patients. Being strongly committed to lifelong learning, I am able to communicate treatment plans and options to providers and patients, as well as learn updated protocols and policies. I try to have an understanding attitude and learn from persons of different backgrounds.
NOTE: This is the same position I held before I retired and then was rehired as a TPT, 9 months later.
See previous job responsibilities and descriptions.
Of the times I have been most proud, yet humble in my nursing career include the following:
-Receiving the Pediatric Nursing Award at my Nursing School graduation.
-Graduating at the top 5% of my MSN Program
-Teaching as an Assistant Professor of Nursing for 10 years (Seattle University and SPU)
-Being a positive role model for my daughter who is an excellent RN.
