  • Conference Planning and Execution: Between May of 2017 to May of 2020 I handled more than 50 conferences (bulleted list of tasks is noted below). Several of these were Global Health conferences and included over 700 attendees with 24 breakout sessions. I also supported in an additional 13 conferences organized by colleagues. Assistance included generating vendor invitations and agreements, accepting vendor payments, attendee check in, submitting for continuing education course credit support in the reconciliation of financials.

  • The courses were offered several times a year and were two-day courses. Students from our Allied Health programs, as well as employees were in attendance. These courses often had between 40-60 participants and were conducted for nursing residents, radiographers, MRI and CT technologists, nuclear medicine staff, Respiratory Care Practitioners and pharmacists. The two-day schedule provided attendees not only with basic information and skills, it also met state and various program requirements for students enrolled at Loma Linda University. With the exception of nursing, these face-to-face courses have been placed on hold until the didactic elements can be brought into the online forum.
