As a Fourth Grade Special Education Teacher I co-taught with a General Education teacher in a Fourth Grade Inclusion classroom. I also was the Resource Center teacher for the Special Education students in the class. I was responsible for designing lesson plans incorporating the New Jersey Core Curriculum Standards, designing and incorporating lesson plans, student evaluations and creative, theme-based bulletin boards. I implemented Writer's Workshop and facilitated literacy circles in my classroom. I developed IEPs tailored to individual student needs, ensuring their academic success and personal growth. I managed IEPs to define student learning objectives and educational strategies, in addition to applying instructional knowledge and methods to support goals.
As a Lead ASD Teacher I developed strong relationships with my ASD students, their parents, as well as my teacher aides, behaviorist and members of the Child Study Team. I did this by maintaining open lines of communication and fostering a supportive learning environment. I managed classroom behaviors effectively by establishing clear expectations, modeling appropriate conduct, and consistently enforcing established rules and consequences. I implemented Discrete Trial Training (DTT) and behavior plans for my students with supervision of a behaviorist and the CST.

As a Third Grade Teacher I provided a warm, supportive environment for my Third Grade students in order to develop their academic, social and emotional growth. I taught the core subjects of Math, ELA, Science and Social Studies. I also created lesson plans to differentiate instruction in order to meet students' diverse learning needs and abilities.
As a Fifth Grade Long Term Substitute I followed classroom procedures left by the classroom teacher to continue student education and reinforce concepts. I collaborated with my colleagues to design interdisciplinary lessons in order to promote well-rounded learning experiences. I maintained classroom management and discipline each day in order to promote learning initiatives.
As a First Grade Teacher I taught the core subjects of Math, ELA, Science and Social Studies to my First Grade students. I planned lessons according to the standards of the academy. I was able to create a supportive learning environment, fostering a positive classroom atmosphere.
As a Preschool Teacher I developed weekly lesson plans and activities to promote my Preschool students' learning and development. I maintained strong relationships with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns. I maintained an organized, fun and interactive classroom to help the children feel secure.
