Enforced OSHA, state & company safety policies and procedures.
Enhanced workplace safety by conducting thorough inspections and identifying potential hazards.
Served as primary backup to Site Safety Manager in charge with various responsibilities related to compliance, operations management, and staff supervision.
Developed safety and occupational safety training programs to comply with state and federal regulations, industry standards and organizational guidelines.
Reviewed and provided JSA documents, JHA audits, accident investigations, OSHA regulatory training as required.
Conducted detailed site safety and health training programs.
On-site first aid and medical provider.
Conducted incident and injury or illness investigations; debriefed detailed notations about any injuries or illnesses in those reports.
Performed record retrieving and keeping / filling functions of new hire and updating former personal documents.
Conducted HSE inspections on fall protection equipment, and all monthly and annually equipment that need to be inspected and marked with the correct color coded tape.
Permit writer and retrieval: assistance with noting tasks, and illuminating hazards that might or might arise due to those job tasks. Look over rescue plans for the job task, assist production teams with health and safety questions and concerns.
Meanwhile also maintaining a positive and proactive relations with supervisions and employers, as well as the agencies and clients we were working along side of.
