  • I currently volunteer with a group of Nepali women in the NY & NJ area, to create Nepali cultural programs to engage the Nepali population in this area. Our biggest event is the yearly Teej festival, where we provide a platform for over 1000+ women to celebrate the festival, enjoy Nepali food and culture. We honor women who have made contribution towards the betterment of women in their community. I work with our team members to raise funds during this program and all the donations raised are given to charitable organizations within our area as well as in Nepal.
