Teaching Philosophy:

I believe that education is a unique experience for every individual in a classroom. As a teacher, it's my responsibility to identify each student's talents, abilities, and learning style within the classroom, to help them realize their full potential. I know the students individually, so I can modify lessons to best fit the needs of the students. I believe teachers need to bring enthusiasm into the classroom in order for the students to develop a love of learning.

The classroom should be a safe and nurturing community where a student should feel comfortable and valued. It is both the teacher and students responsibility to ensure that the classroom community is kind and respectful. Each student should be able to express themselves in their own uniquely individual ways, without fear of being outcast or judged by their peers. The classroom is where children should be encouraged to grow into who they are as a person. I believe the job of the teacher is to facilitate that process. All students are capable of learning, it is up to the teacher to create the best atmosphere for the student to be successful in doing so.
