Sean Berndt

I grew up in northern Wisconsin and completed high school there. When I graduated I immediately applied to and received a job at Walmart as a part time inventory stocker. I worked at Walmart for 4 months and learned work ethic and other valuable job skills as it was my first real job. During that time I heavily considered joining the military and talked to several recruiters. I left Walmart in September 2019 and left for basic training for the Army. After completing basic training I was sent to work and live at Fort Carson CO. I worked as a Tank Crewman for 3 years and learned very valuable life lessons and skills. During that time I participated in many training events and worked on a variety of different vehicles and systems, I deployed overseas, and received multiple awards such as three Army Achievement medals, two Army Commendation medals, and one Army Good Conduct medal.
