My time with the Guyette family began at the end of August and beginning of September 2025, and from the very start it has been a deeply meaningful and rewarding chapter in my life. Caring for their three year old triplets, two girls and one boy, has been both a privilege and a joy that I hold close to my heart, not only for them but also for their six year old older brother. As their full time live out nanny, primarily focused on the triplets, I provide structured before and after school care Monday through Friday, supporting them during some of the most important transition hours of their day. My mornings include preparing and serving breakfast, packing their lunches, and ensuring they are organized and emotionally ready to begin school with calmness and confidence. In the afternoons, I manage school pick up and provide safe transportation to extracurricular activities and enrichment programs, intentionally creating a balanced rhythm that allows them to decompress while maintaining healthy structure and responsibility. Evenings consist of guiding bath time and preparing them to reconnect with their family at dinner, reinforcing stability, connection, and a strong sense of security throughout each phase of their routine.

Throughout my care, I prioritize emotional intelligence, confidence building, and independence, especially during this important stage of early childhood. At three years old, they are developing autonomy, emotional awareness, and social confidence, and I feel honored to help guide them through these formative years. I teach them to manage their belongings, follow routines, and practice accountability in ways that are supportive and age appropriate. I intentionally plan engaging indoor and outdoor experiences such as playground outings, creative projects, and movement based activities that promote cooperation, social growth, and positive peer interaction. I take great pride in seeing the fruit of my work since I began with them, particularly in their emotional development and growing self confidence. My approach combines warmth with steady leadership, allowing me to set clear and respectful boundaries while offering comfort, reassurance, and genuine love so they feel safe, heard, capable, and deeply valued.

My journey with the Buy family began in June 2024, and it has been an incredibly fulfilling and heartwarming experience. They have three beautiful daughters: the oldest is 9, the middle is 6, and the youngest, a curious and joyful toddler who is nearly 2 years old, is my primary focus during the day. Since the older girls are in school and engaged in extracurricular activities, my time is dedicated to caring for the youngest. From the very start, I have taken on her daily care, including feeding, diapering, and helping her establish consistent nap routines. More importantly, I’ve had the privilege of supporting her early development with age-appropriate activities that foster learning, movement, and emotional growth. I especially enjoy singing with her, teaching her animal sounds, colors, encouraging her speech, and introducing a bit of Portuguese, as she is already bilingual (the family is South African). Watching her grow, gain confidence in her walking, discover new words, nurture her dolls, and develop her unique personality has been incredibly special to me.

The family’s home is a calm, loving, and safe environment where she can truly thrive, and I always strive to be a comforting and dependable presence for both her and her family. The trust and connection I’ve built with the girls, especially the youngest, have made this role feel more like becoming part of their extended family than just a job. I am grateful every day to play a meaningful role in their lives and contribute to their happiness and well-being. I admire this family deeply; their children are exceptionally kind and an absolute joy to be around. Every day spent with them is filled with love, laughter, and joy, and it’s an honor and privilege to be part of their lives. They have also been incredibly understanding of my need to find a family that can offer me a full-time position, and I am deeply grateful for their support as I move forward into this next chapter of my journey.

As a Summer Time Nanny for two boys, aged 6 and 8, my main role was to provide care and supervision throughout the summer months, ensuring that they had an enjoyable, safe, and structured experience. I was responsible for planning and organizing a variety of age-appropriate activities, including arts and crafts, outdoor games, and swimming. We also had fun trips to the resort for water slides, keeping them entertained and engaged with new experiences. In addition to activity planning, I assisted with light housekeeping, tidying up after meals, and organizing play areas to keep the space clean and safe. I also handled transportation, making sure they were safely driven to and from summer camps, playdates, or any other activities, while ensuring they were happy and comfortable during these transitions.

Along with these responsibilities, I also helped with educational activities, balancing fun and learning over the summer break. I supported their reading, practiced math skills, and engaged them in creative projects to encourage their intellectual growth. I kept in close communication with their parents to address any concerns and ensure we were aligned on the children’s needs and activities. The role required flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work independently, often adjusting plans based on the children’s moods or interests. As our bond grew stronger, the family offered me a part-time position at the beginning of the school year, where I would pick the boys up from school and take them to their extracurricular activities. This transition allowed me to continue nurturing our relationship and providing consistent care. Although I eventually moved out of state, we’ve kept in touch, and I continue to cherish the connection I built with the family.

I had the privilege of working with a Canadian family who frequently traveled to Miami, where I provided full-time care for their daughter. When we first met, she was almost two years old, and since she was too young to pronounce my name, she affectionately called me "Step." My responsibilities included maintaining her daily routines, managing nap and bedtime schedules, organizing engaging and age-appropriate activities, and supporting her early development through play, reading, and outdoor exploration, including visits to the beach, pool, and playground. I also assisted with potty training and helped teach basic social skills and independence. I provided overnight care when needed, including during holidays like New Year's Eve, and adapted easily to the family’s varying travel schedules, whether their stays lasted a few weeks or several months. In 2023, the family welcomed a baby boy, and I began caring for both children simultaneously. I balanced the needs of a toddler and an infant by managing bottle feedings, diaper changes, nap coordination, and developmental activities for both. I remained flexible with scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and extended stays, while maintaining a warm, structured, and nurturing environment for both children in a variety of settings.

I have many special memories with this family, one of the most touching being when they surprised me with a birthday cake to celebrate early, since we wouldn’t be together on my actual birthday. It was a meaningful gesture that reflected the strong bond we shared. At one point, we even discussed the possibility of me moving to Canada to become their full-time nanny. Although I wasn’t ready to leave Florida at the time, I was deeply honored by their offer. I’m incredibly grateful for the experiences we shared, the trust they placed in me, and the lasting relationship we’ve maintained to this day.

When I first started working with the family, the baby girl was just 7 months old. My days began with gentle interactions, like singing nursery songs to her, which helped build a bond and soothe her. As she grew, my focus shifted toward engaging her in outdoor and sensory activities designed to support her development. I would take her to the park or playground, where I could supervise her safe exploration and help her build motor skills through crawling, sitting, or eventually standing. Fresh air and sunlight were a daily part of our routine. I also introduced hand coloring and painting, allowing her to explore textures and colors while developing fine motor skills in a playful, creative way. Swimming became another exciting activity, where I ensured water safety while encouraging early physical activity in a calm, controlled environment. Twice a week, I took her to Little Gym in the mornings for social interaction with children her age, where she could enjoy songs, activities, and fun bubble play, further promoting her social and motor development.

As the baby began to explore solid foods, I made sure to introduce a variety of nutritious meals, ensuring they were safe and properly prepared. Throughout the day, I remained attentive to her emotional and physical needs, providing comfort and encouraging her growth through consistent, loving interactions. We shared many laughter-filled moments and built a strong bond, and when her step-siblings came over, we would all play and create happy memories. Even after my time with them ended, I continued to visit regularly since we were in the same city, and I stayed in touch with them. They hold a very special place in my heart, and our connection has remained strong over the years.

I began babysitting for this family when the twins, a boy and a girl, were just five years old and their older brother was seven. At first, I mostly cared for them on Friday nights, but over time I also helped on Saturdays and sometimes for the entire weekend. Eventually, I transitioned into a part-time nanny role, which included picking the kids up from school and occasionally staying overnight. As their weekend babysitter, my main priority was always the children’s safety and well-being. I made sure they were supervised at all times, prepared meals and snacks, helped with bedtime routines like brushing teeth and reading stories, and kept them engaged with age-appropriate games or quiet activities. I also tidied up after activities and maintained a calm, respectful environment that reflected the family’s values and routines.

During our time together, we created many special memories, including baking Valentine’s cookies, playing board games, going swimming, and attending events like a women’s gathering with their mom. I supported the older brother as he grew by attending his band performances and cheering him on. I was also there for meaningful moments, like staying with them during a hurricane alert and helping care for their golden retriever and later their cat, both of whom I grew to love. One memory that stands out was when my family was visiting from Brazil and they warmly invited us to their Thanksgiving dinner. It meant a lot to me. Over the years, I’ve grown incredibly fond of them.

When I started working with the Mezvinsky family, the twin girls were around 7 months old, and their older brother was just 2. As a full time live out nanny, I commuted to their home every day to create a safe and nurturing environment for the children. My daily duties involved supervising the kids, maintaining their routines for naps, meals, and play, and organizing age appropriate activities that supported their cognitive, emotional, and physical development. I also helped with tasks like dressing, bathing, and toilet training, and took care of child related housekeeping, such as tidying play areas, organizing toys, and doing their laundry. Throughout it all, I kept open communication with the parents to keep them informed about the kids' progress and behavior, while always remaining flexible and respectful of the household rules.

Working with the Mezvinsky family was an incredibly special experience. I had the opportunity to travel with them for an entire month to Palo Alto, California, and to Hilton Head Island. Their mom would occasionally host twin moms' group events at their house, which was always filled with so many sets of twins, creating a fun and lively atmosphere. Their older son, still too young to say my name, started calling me "Sesame," and the nickname quickly stuck. Before long, everyone, parents, grandparents, and even extended family, was calling me "Sesame." They moved to Spain due to their dad's career, but we kept in touch, and I was fortunate enough to visit whenever they came to Florida to see relatives. Those moments and the strong bond I shared with the family will always hold a special place in my heart.

As a Daycare Preschool Assistant, I worked with two age groups of approximately 20 children. In the first 3 months, I assisted 2-3-year-olds, focusing on their safety and foundational development through sensory and motor activities like finger painting and block stacking. I also supported potty training and language development with interactive games, songs, and reading. Working closely with the lead teacher, I helped create a nurturing environment that encouraged socialization and emotional expression.

In the following 3 months, I transitioned to working with 4-5-year-olds, preparing them for kindergarten while supporting their cognitive, social, and emotional growth. I helped implement lesson plans focused on early literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving, and led group activities that promoted creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking. I also fostered self-confidence and independence through leadership opportunities and conflict resolution, while guiding the development of social-emotional skills. Throughout this time, I maintained strong communication with parents and worked closely with colleagues to ensure each child's individual needs were met.

As a live-in nanny for 2-month-old twins, my primary responsibility was to provide round-the-clock care, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. I handled all aspects of their daily routines, including feeding, diaper changes, and helping establish a consistent sleep schedule. Since they were so young, I focused on creating a calm and nurturing environment to help them feel secure and loved. I also supported their early developmental milestones by engaging them in sensory activities like gentle singing, talking, and offering soft toys. I monitored their progress and communicated any concerns to the parents to ensure their health and development were on track. Additionally, I managed all baby-related household tasks, such as cleaning and sanitizing bottles, pacifiers, and toys, as well as doing the twins’ laundry. I kept track of baby supplies like diapers and formula, ensuring the parents were informed when it was time to restock. Flexibility was essential, especially for unexpected situations. Above all, I maintained confidentiality and professionalism, working to build a trusting relationship with the family and offering peace of mind that their children were well cared for and loved.

I eventually ended my role with the twins to work at a daycare in a different city, but I stayed in touch with their mom, and we became good friends. I would visit the twins from time to time to stay involved in their lives and babysit when I could. I was delighted to hear that their family welcomed a new addition in 2024, and the twins now have a younger brother. It’s been wonderful to watch them grow and continue to be a part of their journey, even from a distance.

I had the privilege of working as a live-in nanny for a wonderful family in Minnesota, where I cared for four children: an 8-year-old girl, a 4-year-old boy, a 2-year-old boy, and a 4-month-old baby boy. My responsibilities included ensuring their safety, assisting with personal hygiene and dressing, preparing snacks, and organizing engaging playtime, educational activities, and outings. I also supported their nap and bedtime routines to establish healthy sleep habits. Encouraging creativity through arts, crafts, reading, and outdoor activities, I worked to foster positive behavior, good manners, and respectful interactions. Additionally, I managed transportation to appointments, school, and extracurricular activities, and maintained communication with the parents, providing regular updates on the children’s progress.

Over time, the family became more than just an employer; they became like family to me. I successfully managed all four children when the parents were away for a week, with the help of their grandmother, and traveled with the family on getaways, staying involved in their routines and ensuring the children had fun indoors and outdoors. Even after my time with them ended, we stayed in touch, and I had the joy of watching the 8-year-old I started with grow up and head off to college. On one occasion, I also cared for six children when school was canceled due to the weather. This experience not only helped me develop valuable childcare skills but also allowed me to build lasting, meaningful relationships with the family.
