I am a driven young man from Nigeria, eager to see the lives of the poor and oppressed in the world liberated by Christ through the work of his people. I am a hard working and persistent learner eager to grow in my skills in leadership and growth of organizations. I am skilled in strategic planning, problem-solving, and communication with good understanding of business principles, project management and team leadership. I am highly collaborative with a relentless work ethic. With my accumulated experience from founding and leading a nonprofit organization in Nigeria that has implemented various charitable projects and has served over a thousand families and christian educational institutions through the years in the areas of educational and spiritual growth for children and their parents; a robust foundation and experience in cross cultural missions and work both in Nigeria and the United States of America; a great language and cultural knowledge of Nigeria with residence in Jos, I will be a great addition to your team.
Ya’yan Bege, Hausa for Children of Hope, is a nonprofit organization I started when I was 13 years old as a means through which to help train the African child -especially in Nigeria, in the fear and admonition of the Lord. It came as a reaction to the extreme poverty and rising number of out of school children I saw that plagued the people of Nigeria. My desire was to look out for the future of Nigeria by training today its future leaders, i.e the children, in both academics, life skill, and in the fear and admonition of the Lord. It started out with about 50 children and by the grace of God today there are some 1000+ children who benefit from it.
