Online Doctor Finder Application (March 2023 – May 2023)

Developed a Java-based Clinical Appointment System, the Online Doctor Finder, which streamlined the process of scheduling medical consultations. Leveraged technologies like MySQL for the database, and Tomcat Apache for the web server. The system allowed users to browse doctors, book appointments, and manage payments online, while also providing administrative tools for system management. Focused on creating a user-friendly and robust platform, reducing the errors and inefficiencies of the manual system

Predicting Food Cuisine using Natural Language Processing and Machine learning in Python   (January 2020 - July 2020)

Collaborated on building a machine learning model using Natural Language Processing to predict cuisine types based on recipe ingredients. Scraped over 1,600 recipes, engineered features like bigrams, and employed models such as Random Forest and XGBoost, achieving a best accuracy of 80%. Integrated the model into a user-friendly function for predicting cuisine from any ingredient list

IT Auditing for Illinois Institute of Technology’s cybersecurity plans (May 2024 – July 2024)

Conducted a thorough audit of Illinois Institute of Technology's cybersecurity plans, policies, and standards, focusing on compliance with NIST Special Publication 800-171A Rev. 3. This involved assessing security controls, identifying gaps, and providing actionable recommendations to enhance the protection of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Collaborated with stakeholders, analyzed relevant data, and presented findings to senior management, ultimately contributing to improved cybersecurity practices across the institution.
