  • In 2012, I was promoted to the rank of Captain and assigned to be the A-Shift Captain at Fire Station 1
  • I shared responsibilities with 2 other Captains until May of 2021 when the Captain on C-Shift was removed, and my duties changed, and I became the responsible Captain for Fire Station 1
  • Since then, I have been responsible for the overall care of the building, all apparatus (except Engine 5), and my continued responsibility as head over the SCBA program for the department
  • Also, recently I began to take over more responsibilities (i.e
  • Attending AMAS and LEPC meetings) as a leader of the Haz Mat Team in anticipation of BC Brown impending retirement with the intention of helping prevent any unnecessary problems until a permanent leaser is announced
  • In September 2024, I was reassigned to the Communications Commander position for TFR Communications
  • In this position I served as the liaison between TFR Admin and TFR Communications
  • My main responsibilities were to oversee dispatch and any duties that was related to its daily activities

  • As a fire fighter my primary jobs were to mitigate and control major hazardous incidents as a member of the entry team
  • Later my job transitioned when I became an apparatus operator, I was more responsible for the care of HM1, and I specialized in the usage of the various monitors that were located on the apparatus
  • Since I became a company officer my job has further evolved to include the responsibilities of an Operations Officer at incidents and the overall care of the equipment located at Fire Station 1
