The duties of the pppl utility crane operator on entry is to verify and load the correct coil and also communicate with Taylor operators on staging the correct coils by the schedule. Also the entry crane operator is to dump scrap boxes and make picks for maintenance and contractors and to load the test weights for the tension reel operator. The p&o crane operator duties is to unload the line band coils send coils to shipping and load the galv trucks for galv 3. And to verify coils are in the right locations and to scan every coil in a location.

• Assisted maintenance technicians in lock out tag out procedures to replace maintain are repair equipment.
• Tended to equipment malfunction or failure with minimal downtime to production.
• Complied with OSHA regulations, maintaining safe and clean working environment.

• Aligned sprockets and motors replaced,bearings,chains gear boxes etc.
• Recognized and responded to hazardous materials spills to maintain safety.
• Inspected work areas for safety hazards prior to starting repair jobs and house cleaning after each job to reduce safety hazards of slips trips and falls.
• Also operated forklifts, rough terrain forklifts, scissors lifts and man lifts.

• Participated in demoing old structural and installing new plateforms structural support, catwalks and handrails.

• Moved and maneuvered dump beds by over head crane and Taylor forklifts
