Pipeline construction worker with 20yrs. Experience in new construction, maintenance, and repairs of oil and gas pipelines. Willing to travel and relocate if necessary. Good communication skills and attitude while juggling tasks and working under pressure. Safety is my priority keeping everyone around me including myself safe.
Work as a heavy equipment operator running an excavator for digging ditch, bell holes, hot lines, as well as stringing pipe, lowering in and backfilling. Finishing off with a motorgrader to do a final clean up on the R.O.W.
Worked as an equipment operator for a composite crew. I got to do a little bit of every as far as opening R.O.W to digging ditch to lowering pipes and backfilling, while also helping out the crew on the ground including sandblasting, coating, jeeping and whatever else needed to be done.
I worked on new pipeline construction as well in pipeline maintenance. As lease crew leader, my objective was to complete any given task on time and follow every safety procedure. I was also in charge of completing all paper work needed for the job, conducting a tailgate safety meeting and letting every person under my crew know how the job was being done providing a work safe environment for everyone. As far as my tasks for pipeline construction, I would string pipes, weld pipes, lower pipes to tie-ins and finish off hydro-testing. Maintenance was also done to existing pipelines, checking for cave-ins as well as for missing pipeline markers on ROW, including replacing valve, leaks on valve setting, or launcher receivers. Roustabout was also done on well pads and flow lines

I started off as a labor hand with little experience from my previous job. Soon enough a strawboss position became available. Being a hard worker and wanting to make a career out of the pipeline I took the chance of learning more about the pipeline.
Started off with no experience at all this was my first job on the pipeline. We would do a little bit of everything such as opening fence gaps, chunk skids, traffic control,or spot for equipment operators.
