Summary

As a statewide legislative leader, I have experience and competence in reviewing proposed and existing policies, as well as budgets and programs that affect the citizens of our state. I can identify weaknesses and devise strategic improvement plans toward those policies, and communicate the plans to stakeholders. I am experienced in obtaining critical funding necessary to support important projects and have confidence in presenting proposals to large groups. With a solid history of effective constituent, committee, and legislative relations, I have demonstrated success in building consensus with others. Being adept in relationship-building, and conflict management among colleagues and staff is a necessary component of successful leadership and that is a true strength of mine.
